Chod, for the fortunate ones of the Gangchen Lineage
Non disponibile
We need to cut the root of suffering as we would destroy an enemy. The essence of Chöd consists of doing one less negative action each day. If we cut off the negative causes and conditions that create our suffering, then all we are left with are the good things of life. NgalSo means that we need to keep all negativity away from us and all positivity within us.
The Chöd, or cutting practice, is a special practice to develop the two bodhichittas, which we call the great heart of universal compassion and the understanding of the true nature of reality. The Chöd practice is based on two Mahayana or great vehicle practices, the perfection of wisdom teachings and the lojong or mind training teachings. The perfection of wisdom was first taught by Buddha Shakyamuni on Massed Vultures Mountain in Rajgriha in ancient India.
